There were more than 8,000 marketing technology (MarTech) solutions available at the start of 2020. In less than a year, the field has grown by 13.6%.
“One in 5 of the solutions on this year’s MarTech landscape weren’t there last year,” says Scott Brinker, creator of the Marketing Technology Landscape Supergraphic; VP, Platform Ecosystem of Hubspot; and Program Chair, MarTech, and Editor of chiefmartech.com. The increase in solutions “is almost the equivalent of the entire 2015 marketing technology landscape.”
This growth was all before COVID-19 changed our worlds – and the pandemic will continue to change the MarTech landscape even further.
