Mets Social Strategy Secrets: How To Connect With Your Audience

Social media has changed marketing forever. The power, reach, and convenience of social media plays a major factor in the influence of potential buyers each and every day. Consumers stay glued to their social platforms via their cell phones searching for news and information while seeking out the hottest fashion trends and the newest tech toys and trends. Young adults lead social media usage and are twice as likely to be influenced to purchase based on what they see on Instagram over a product a friend may recommend to them.

How can marketers keep up, stay relevant, and capitalize on social media as part of their overall marketing plan?

On June 13th, Will Carafello, the Senior Director of Social Media for the New York Mets, will take you through the social media landscape and also show you how the Mets use social media to further their business initiatives, enhance the team’s marketing and customer service, all while increasing engagement and brand awareness through the digital space.

You will get to see the rise of social media and the transition of each platform over time. Carafello will share his background, including how he transitioned into social media after spending nearly a decade in traditional marketing.
