Marketing the New York Mets

Join us for an evening of sports marketing and baseball with the New York Mets.

The evening starts at the Mets Café with a talk from Mark Fine, Executive Director of Marketing for the team, who will discuss how the franchise goes to market. After his session, we will head to our seats, grab some refreshments, and enjoy the San Diego Padres vs Mets game.

Attendees may hear how the Mets:

  • Build their brand
  • Experiment with Augmented Reality to improve their fans’ experience
  • Create partnerships to drive excitement and push branded content to their audience

This will be a fun-filled sporting event that we will share together. PLAY BALL!

Mark is a dynamic marketer and creative thinker with extensive experience in all aspects of brand, consumer, digital and social media marketing/content development. Mark’s expertise includes sports and entertainment consumer and brand marketing, strategic planning, digital & social media, creative services management, retail, and big idea thinking and execution.

Mark joined the Mets after spending four and a half years with the World-Famous Harlem Globetrotters, most recently as the Globetrotters’ Vice President, Live Event Marketing. He played an integral role in leading the Globetrotters to their four highest-grossing ticket revenue seasons in the 86-year history of the team, which included the highest single grossing Globetrotters’ game in the history of New York’s Madison Square Garden in 2014.

Prior to joining the Globetrotters, Mark spent seven and a half years in leadership roles with Comcast Spectacor, a Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment company, rising to the position of Regional Director of Marketing, South Region which oversaw several marketing directors at various regionally-based venues managed by Comcast Spectacor’s subsidiary, Global Spectrum, including arenas on the campuses of Old Dominion University, University of Miami, and University of South Carolina. He started his career in minor league baseball with the Baltimore Orioles’ single-A affiliate, the Frederick Keys.

Mark is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C. Fine, and currently resides in New York.
