Karen Cummins is an award-winning marketing executive with over 20 years of expertise transforming brands, fueling customer growth and driving engagement for both consumer and business audiences. Her professional experience spans some of the most recognized global media and entertainment companies including Viacom (now Paramount+), Discovery Communications, and A+E Networks, where Karen has served in senior executive marketing roles. More recently Karen has brought her marketing experience to the non-profit sector as Managing Director of Marketing & Communications for The Jewish Education Project, a think-do tank that is innovating and incubating new Jewish educational models for today’s families.
Karen has extensive experience leveraging data and consumer insights to connect brands with the right audience to drive conversion, through the strategic development of creative campaigns, digital marketing, social media, experiential activations, grassroots promotions and brand partnerships.
A recognized leader who fosters collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, Karen enjoys mentoring teams of creative marketing professionals. She has served in mentoring, consulting and/or board roles for WICT (Women in Cable Television), Temple Shalom of Norwalk, and Kids in Crisis.
Karen lives in Connecticut with her husband, teenage twins and two cats, and can be found on any given weekend listening to live music, doing planks at her local Pilates club or reading a good book at a favorite cafe.
